In Christ Alone
The hymn “In Christ Alone” holds a special message for all who put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Written by Stuart Townend and Keith Getty in 2002, this beautiful hymn speaks of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection and reminds us that He is the foundation of our faith, the source of our strength, and the reason for our hope. What makes this hymn so meaningful to me is the way it expresses the truths of the gospel in words that touch the heart.
Like many believers, we all experience moments of fear, uncertainty, pain, and struggle. During these times, the words of this hymn remind us that we are never without hope when our lives are anchored in Jesus. No matter what challenges we face, His love remains faithful, His promises remain true, and His victory over sin and death gives us a hope that nothing in this world can take away . . .
Because He Lives
In 1989, Rev. Moses Mbuga Ssemanda took a step of faith that would improve the lives of thousands of children in Uganda. Inspired by a deep calling to serve and shaped by the hardships he faced after losing his father at a young age, he dedicated his life to caring for orphans. What began with just three children has grown into a mission that now supports thousands through education, clean water initiatives, and community development. His story of faith, perseverance, and the vision behind Imani Milele Children Inc. are an important reminder that God often uses the smallest beginnings to create hope and lasting change for many.
This post includes the beautiful hymn “Because He Lives” sung with great joy by the Imani Milele Children’s choir . . .
